Ever bring your girlfriend, or sombody who isn't that good skiing?

so I think my girlfriend is going skiing with my this weekend, so I'll probably just take it easy for a day and ski with her. I doubt I'll get much park in but who knows. I'm also not sure if I wanna wear all my park stuff, it's really big and for all mtn. idk if it's a great idea but I really wanna rock it, so for anyone is that stuff good if you're just skiing or does it ever get in the way or anything, any downsides?

Also do you guys ever bring your girlfriends skiing or anyone who isn't that good?
 
yeah i have not girlfriend just friend that happens to be a girl and just wear your park stuff, think about it your not going to be doing much actual skiing...

switch down greens for half the day and switch down blues for half the day both going really slow

but its pretty fun and all to do so have fun
 
I've done it. It sucks. I usually do a few runs with her and then arrange to meet for lunch. I guess that makes me kind of a dick. Anyhow, much better to have her bring a friend, so they can ski together.
 
yeah man...just take it easy for a day and just have fun. Like he said before^, just mess around and ski switch all day and practice your butters.

and if she doesnt just have her take a break and have her sit and watch you in the jump park for just a little shed probably like it really...

eh i gotta take one this weekend =[ oh well she liked it a lot last time so cant complain everyone learned somehow...

but like you said dont force, you dont need to hear her bitch for the rest of the day hahah
 
I agree with switch all day. and remember, sometimes relationships are about sacrifices... hahahahaha thats a load of shit if it helps you get some action do it
 
I'm gonna be working on butters and generally just fucking around. She's not a horrible skier (I don't think). So she can probably make it down a lot of stuff, just don't want her to have a really hard day or anything.
 
i rode my my gf a week or so ago and i was just like, try to keep up, and i would ski hard stop, wait ski hard, stop wait, it was actually fun and she learned to ski alot better by jsut watching me and trying to keep up, she said it was the funnest day she ever had skiing!

 
thats how my gf started last year and now she keeps up and goes with me almost every time i go. she got to ski waist deep last week and she did awesome. its so fun now.
 
im nice to girls but thats one thing i wont do. I tried it once and the second we got off the lift I was bombing switch down towards the park and didnt see her for a while .
 
its alright,i mean not the best but its bearable. my gf usually wants to go to the park and take pictures so its pretty sweet. i usually do little jibs on the side of trails, butter and ride switch alot.
 
i once skiied with andres3000. he is not good, but tries to be. his philosophy is that the real skiers ski moguls only and that looks in 90% of skiing
 
Ya, it's gonna be kinda of a change of pace for me cause I've never had a girlfriend before (I'm 17...don't even ask). So I'm used to doing whatever I want, whenever I want, with whoever I want. I hang out with girls all the time and stuff but ya... I think it will be fun in the end, I'm sure I can keep myself busy.
 
bring your ipod if you have one so if your girlfriend is annoying you can make an excuse for not listenting to her
 
man i think i could spend an entire day doing flatland stuff. shit, i have. i think i almost have more fun doing super tech flat tricks than on rails and shit. almost. but yea man, its not too hard to take a day and ski with her, and like ^ said, if you can throw down and look like a baller, shell be all about it, and youll get laid. just act like shit aint no thang! haha.
 
yeh man bad idea. me and my gf did a little bit in vermont on a school trip and like i HATE waiting, especially when i am skiing....we got in a fight over it. haha
 
Dude who really cares if your going skiing with your girlfriend? And why the hell do you need to ask us for advice. Who you trying to impress you douche. And my advice is when you asked should I wear my park stuff I'd say sure. I'm guessing that would be an unzipped jacket, tight overall pants and some 15 dollar goggles. Lol hahahaha

rule 1.

i will only ever marry a skier. or if pushed, i will accept a snowboarder. bottom line, when holidays roll around, i dont want any "but i want to lie on sandy beaches and read a book for a week"
 
ummmmm ive skied with my mom lol it sucks so hard to ski with people that cant ski good, but just bring ur park skis and try to ollie really high and work on stupid shit like that lol

i always ski with girls

they all have twins too its sweet like the one i usualy ski with has misdamenors and another has last years guy scratchs its pretty sweet, they actualy try shit too and are hot and smoke me out all the time. im a happy camper
 
Yeh, I hate bringing people who aren't that good at skiing. I brought my friend and these girls he knows out to Nakiska, man was that a bad choice, all the girls wanted to do was stand there and oggle at the hot guys in the park, they didn't hit a single feature...
 
Are you saying that your what you wear to ski park gets in the way of regular skiing? Is your clothes really that XXXL that it gets in the way of regular skiin? Kinda confusing to me
 
Pretty sure I wear the same stuff whether riding park or all mountain. The only thing that changes is how many layers i have on for warmth. Am I the only one who doesn't have different gear, or am i missing out on something.
 
i took an ex-girlfriend once, we were dating then, and she had never skied, it was terrible. she bitched all day about how cold it was and how skiing wasnt any fun. i broke up with her a month later haha
