1. we are all skiers no matter how you look at it. 2. i could care less, wait? yes! as in your opinion means very little to me.3. a) that wasnt even my point. b) i read this thread and the ones on the other forums too. i really had nothing better to do. and i regularly read threads and go beck to them to see what other people have to say... whats so wrong with that? its not like i am checking back in here like you also said that he doesnt care and is only looking for a rise? obviously, if he is doing this shit on 3 different forums he cares a bit more then i do. 4. i apologize, i was unaware that quoting a specific person means i must respond to what they specifically said. i quoted it so he knew it was directed at him. i never called him a gaper, he did that on his own, and he is not a part of this newschooler "movement".

im sure 90% of epicski couldnt slide a box without breaking their hip either. also im glad i probably couldnt ski with racers. the only kind of racing i would enjoy is bombing a hill with all my friends. carving up an icy ass run all day trying to shave .1 second off my time doesnt seem like a fun thing to do. at all.

well epic ski is stupid for sure, no debating that here.
what im saying is; sure most racers cant double cork switch 9 but most newschoolers couldn't race competitively either. they're differrent, and racers are hated alot around here, even though theyre is alot of skill involved. in both aspects of the sport.
 
this is true. racers are good. for me though its not enough, i try to make my skiing as well rounded as possible. i ski park, i ski groomers, i ski powder i ski bumps and i love it all. when i arrive at the mountains i ski where the conditions are best. if its a pow day the park can kiss my ass if its been a few days without any new snow ill probably be making laps through the park.

so many parts of this piss me off. im not really sure why generalizations about different forums are necessary. granted a 60 year old living by whistler has no need to be on ns, but the hate on all sides is ridiculous. that guy who called hardcore touring bums gapers clearly has no idea what hes talking about- you cant judge their whole site on that.

just to throw it out there, i think TGR has an incredibly diverse, experienced membership. its easily one of my top 5 favorite forums (all around, not just skiing). my only complaint is the blue background.
 
actually, the correct expression is "I COULDN'T care less". saying "i could care less" implies that you DO care, and that it would be possible for you to care less.
 
you must not have read the second part you quoted. "you opinion matters very little to me" implying that i do care, but only a little bit. therefore i could care less. please dont put words in my mouth.

nope, i still think that skiing is skiing. doesnt matter if you prefer tgr or ns or epicski. its all still skiing. this is silly, i dont even understand why you are riding my shit so hard. i think the hate between the websites is dumb, and what you are doing is even dumber.
