they seem like the biggest group of conservative, negative and bitter old men, with the exception of some. but no one has told them to straight up get a life and stop hating on all forms of skiing other than racing...

i liked the comment about NS though haha
 
i agree, i read that thread, and most seemed like total douches who would only ski groomers and race, and completley dislike any progression in skiing or anything in general

wow so i read the last page, and one of the fucks posted a pic of a guy skin some pow, and said "it's obvious that the skier in the photo you provided could never ski a real, groomed slope and has to resort to skiing softer, easier terrain. his on slope attire also could use some help." so is everyone on that site a douche like that or no
 


TGR: The guys who treat skiing as a lifestyle, not just a past-time.

They sacrifice a ton to shred pow, more of a freeride scene as well. In

my experience TGR turns up far more, and far better info than any other

forum - but you have to sort through the jongings and shit-hurlings to

find it. Anyone who doesn't know their ski talk need not apply, for

their own sake.

Epic Ski: The people who can't handle TGR. Not necessarily worse

skiers, but ppl who think of skiing as more of a sport than a

life-style (overall). Less big-mountain, more all-mountain and race

oriented.

Newschoolers: the new generation of skiers, all about steeze. Maturity

is sparse, and knowledge even sparser. However, if your into the

park-rat scene its the spot.

If you look at the quiver pic threads of each forum you can get a good

idea of the atmosphere (TGR=Pow/Big-Mtn skis, EpicSki=Carving and

racing skis, with some pow tools thrown in, and NS=park noodles).

wow, funny thing is, most of us ski better than every1 on epic ski, and realized were better just than skiing groomers lol. tgr peepl called it gapic lol.
 
ya pretty much all they do is ski groomers, hate on every1, and improve their groomer technique, funny part is, give race skis to almost every newschooler and they would have amazing form

thats exactly what im thinkin, just because we chose to ski park and big mountain doesnt mean we cant hang with racers if we wanted to. (not that i would want to, at all, ever). these tools act like we cant ski at all
 
wow, you have a registered user account from 2004. you may lurk but you have not been a part of this. what does trolling even mean? and why does it bother you so much that people dont like skiing the same way you do. that doesnt mean they cant ski it means they have a different outlook then you do. TRG is not wrong NS is not wrong and epicski is not wrong. we are more alike then we are different.

3.Why make a point of how little you care, you took the time to read the thread in the first place, and have obviously been checking back on it, pretending not to care at all doesnt make you above the nonsense, it makes you sound like an idiot.

4.Finally if your point was that skiing was still skiing how does that in anyway respond to the quoted person, even going so far as to imply he is a gaper and was not part of "this" which I assume to be the newschooler movement.
