Europe finally getting a good year

After 3 years of record lack of snowfall and warm temperatures, the start to the European ski season in the pyranees, alps, and the Scottish highlands looks to be a cold and snowy one. I'm heading out to verbier in 2 weeks and I'm beyond excited. Seems like finally Europe gets a good year while the west coast suffers.

Haha it's rare you see a short range snow map with snowfall expected across low lying areas of France, Germany, England... literally could snow on the beaches of the south of France lol
 
Last year the French Alps had a load of snow late November/early December and then didn't snow again until January.

I know this because I went L2A over Xmas and the entire resort (well, what was open anyway) was just pure solid ice. Bluebird days all week but about -10c.

So yeah, don't jinx it lmao

I don't believe in jinxes hahaha I actually look at the weather patterns and I can tell you it looks amazing

I think what people are trying to convey is that you're jumping the gun a bit. Wait until february/march until you declare it a great season, it's seriously only 2nd December.

Being a consistent -10c and not one single snowflake for about a month meant it was just a single sheet of ice across the entire resort
 
I leave Monday for Germany and Switzerland to ski. Really hoping for good snow. We'll see if the weather continues.
