they look really big (189) they would be hard for spinning in the park, but good for big mountain and backcountry.

Mind over matters what matters...

They are a 186. Once you are used to the length it's no big deal. I'm on 190 V-Pros and I'd go longer if I could.

there a 186, my friend rode them and he says they ride like the skogen, like they ride like a 178 or something, and he just took em into the park, he said he may buy them because he thought they were a awesome ski

They will be very good for back country becasue they are made for the binding to be set forward which will make it easier for switch landings in powder.

WORD

wow, 190..... that's approaching Glen Plake steeze..... i'm on a 176 (not sure, think it's 76.... could be 70) and i can't imagine muscling around anything bigger than 180.... i'm also only 5'7, but, damn.

Yeah, well I'm 6'3. 190 is probably a bit short for me, but no-one makes a full twin longer than that.

yeah, but the're really isnt a big difference between 190 and 192

the pollards are cool. I lined them up beside the 176 skogans, with mount points side by side, and the 186 pollards were only like 2 cm longer in the front. all the rest of the length is in the tail.

This may be off topic, but I like the Pollard Pros but is there any reason to get them if I already have Fujatives and TMs?

Well it would just be a wider ski for you. They would def. be better in the pow, and you'd prob. like the stability of landing on a wider board. It really depends on what type of riding you do.

better to burn out...

...then fade away

An 86 waist isn't going to do much over an 85 on the Fujatives, but, the Pollard is a sick ski for sure. As said above, the extra length in the tail makes of easier switch landings and less wash-outs, plus they are extremely light for a ski that size. Quality boards.

their great, really responsive and not so wide where their TOO wide

granted its a 186, but do the LINE MATH..subtract 6 for full tip and tail measurments...every other ski company measures RUNNING LENGTH (the area of the ski in contact with the snow) line measures the tip and tail, so what is a 180cm ARMADA is a 186 LINE...so its only a 180 in terms of how it skis, it skis like a 180

i saw pollard rippin a special pollard pro for next years. it wasnt the prophet though. it had the same graphics as this coming seasons but it musta been about 105-110 in the waist. the graphics are actually pretty sick for next years
