Yeah because he was working on Drawn From Here. It was a labor of time and it was well worth it.

Those custom boots he had to build to still ski and the strap for surfing really underlined how bad that injury was for him. Its super inspiring to see him continue to keep ripping. Also loved how he incorporated more insight into the creative process and how hard it is to do something new.

Yeah I need to watch again on a big screen. Watched a couple times on the iPad with some nice headphones though. Killer soundtrack to turn up

The editing was so well done on it, the film just sucked me in and I just lost track of time. The movie ended and I just immediately replayed it haha, gooood stuff

man, i am not feeling this movie, unfortunately.

I loved it, but this man shouldn’t be downvoted for not liking it, he sure aint slandering it

the biggest thing that impressed me about this movie is how even though there was a lot of non skiing footage, it was still super entertaining and watchable. There have been so many movies over the years that have tried to break the "ski porn" mould by including a lot of non-skiing footage, and pretty much all of them have been terrible IMO (especially Into the Mind). This was dope though

yeah for sure. though I wonder how it is received by someone with no prior knowledge of pollard and his legacy.

Watched it with my girlfriend last night and while the return to skiing part and his enduring smooth style didn't really get her like it got me I think she was even MORE impressed by just how many awesome creative things he's skilled at.

I think the weight of him falling from the top, and rebuilding to a new (very different) reality was sorta lost on her but his journey was very much present. She was into it.

Book looks sick too, a little pricey though.

Book is awesome but yes, a premium price .. the quality (high quality, lots of content) + quantity (small amount produced) made them turn out that pricey. LINE's just distributing for EP as he couldn't warehouse and ship out so it's a break-even situation and available for those who are compelled to have a physical piece along with the film. There's a much deeper dive into various influences and stories in there, not just photos.

Makes sense, and I’d expect a book by Pollard to be well designed down to the materials. That’s dope that you guys are distributing the book for him too.

How many are made?

only like 200. most will be gifts to and a bunch of reps and fans around the world are snatching up but there will be some available through the holidays probably ... super cool piece of ski history that you don't have to worry about not having a VCR or DVD player to go back and enjoy it in 20 years.

Everyone else didn't save their VCR so they could watch OG films forever?

The pricing on the book does align with the finished product. High end print is expensive.... Eric could have produced the book at a lower price point, with cheaper paper...but that's not how Eric likes to do things, which is rad. Only premium.

This is a space film about freedom and speed. I liked the realism and the music that accompanies the skier in the film. It seems to me that I went to ride on leagues in Georgia or the Alps. It reminded me of a text about man and the world https://gradesfixer.com/free-essay-examples/world/. I think this idea was supported by critics and I am waiting for new films from the maestro. Thank you for the wonderful picture.

Eric Pollard's "Drawn From Here" isn't just a ski film, it's a journey. It shows how his passions for skiing, art, and design intertwine. Inspiring, but definitely won't take my exam for me. Maybe it can inspire a killer essay though!
