Well if you are more than 1 inch taller than him, or 1 inche shorter I've heard the bases rupture and you'd have to return them for a 50% refund, in which case you'd be out at least $200. They were made for Pollard and thus only work for people who are his height or very close to it. I dunno how Line made such a ski but they did.
 
Yup. My friend who was 5'7" bought elizabeths and on the first run the bases ruptured and he was pissed when he only got $300 back on a $600 ski.
 
im 5'8 and i have had no rupturing or ski damage. check my review of them for what i think of them
