Epic (Planks) thread

So I'm sure at this point most of you have seen the "EP takeovers" on NS with the pilot projects and such, but I haven't seen a whole lot of talk around the forums, so I thought maybe I'd get the discussion goin.

As a disclaimer: I am a sponsored rider for EP, but out of personal choice, not lack of other brands to chose from. (Can get pro-form on K2 and Salomon). As a company I really respect these guys for what they're doing, and as a skier I really appreciate the skis they're making! Read they're about and mission statement here: http://www.epicplanks.com/about-us/ and know that they mean what they say

I have had no pressure whatsoever from the "boss" for this thread, I just simply got my skis in the mail and was soo impressed by them that I felt the need to let others know.

These are the new rippers; this years skis with next years topsheet (spoiler alert!!!!!....hope I'm allowed to post this hahah) They're a stifff mofo of a ski, and built like a brick, but not weighted like one, haven't seen anything shapewis to compare it to except maybe the TST or EHP, but that would be an approximation.

Anyone with questions, anyone with positive or negative feedback from riding or seeing Epic Planks, please post 'em up and I'll answer em or find someone who can!

Without further ado: SkIsS!11!!!!!11

Handmade in Michigan, cool. I love all these handmade in the USA companies. I have a pair of Icelantics and would love to try some other made in the US skis.

We started selling in fall 2010. Just made 30 pairs of 185 Crop Dusters that year. Been a crazy ride and we have been working hard to improve our skis every year by taking feedback to heart.
