Epic pass question!

So, I'm buying this guys epic local college pass. I know they're not transferable, but I know that's probably something that will never get checked. But what I'm curious about is the ski with a friend part of the pass. I want my girlfriend to get to use the discounted tickets it comes with, but to get them are they going to make me present an ID or anything of the sort? I'm worried that they'll somehow find out I'm not the passholder on paper, and worst case scenario cancel the pass. Thanks in advance.
 
This really isn't a great idea. It is fairly likely they will catch you as the lifties have incentives to find people using other peoples passes. If you don't look fairly similar it isn't a good idea, and even if you do look pretty similar you better make sure you have his information down pat and don't make the mistake of saying your birthday or something if you get asked.
 
the punishment is way worse than a cancelation... its identity fraud and a massive fine. SOOoooooo far from worth it. just buy a pass homie

Gonna pony off this thread and ask another simple question about the epic pass...Their website says pass sales are all done until next season; can you really not buy the epic pass after the season starts? That seems kinda whack, but if thats true, definitely gonna affect my travel plans...
 
Just go to Winter Park/Copper. I saw a deal on the Winter Park website where you can buy two pack of passes for $59/day. Better worth it. The risk isn't worth it. I will say, in all the years I've had the Epic pass nobody has questioned that it is me (how would you even know with goggles and all) but it's possible. Huge risk. Not to mention if you get stopped by a yellow jacket which is likely at vail resorts (in which case, I guess run and call it a day but you better switch up your outfit after that)

Yeah it is true. The only pass you can still get is for Abay at 300 bucks.

Bummer. Thats good to keep in mind though. I wonder why they do that? I may have to base it up around A Basin, and just suck it up and pay for day passes at the surrounding mountains. Thanks for the tip!
