Epic pass or Squaw!

Spent more than my fair share of time in the green mts and occasionally gettin utarded, but life has a way of placing one far, far from home.

SO now I'm in N California and needing a ski pass.

I was set on the epic pass to get that Tahoe time in plus a trip to CO if this el nino doesn't pan out for us.

But my bossman is gettin all amped on his Squaw pass.

What's the deal, local NSers? Majority of my time will be in the Tahoe area, I'm so close. So is it worth putting all my eggs in the Squaw basket or should I stick with the epic?

What do you prefer to ski? Big mountain, park, groomers, etc. Also will you be located in north lake or south lake?

I'm actually down close to Sac, given the highways I think the North Lake is more accessible.

I'll ski anything from fast groomers to steep and technical terrain. Not strictly a park rat but I can have fun lapping for a couple hours. I'm more partial to jump lines but I don't need humongous features to have fun.

I'm pretty open ended which is what makes this decision tough

If you plan on being in North Lake more then I'd say go Squaw and Alpine. Personally I like those mountains more than Northstar which is your only epic pass option on the north shore.

Squaw has a decent park and they stay open later in the season unlike Northstar Heavenly and Kirkwood.

Got the Squaw some time ago, much thanks man!!!! Gotta get out there asaaap
