Epic Pass for a ski trip?

Long time NS lurker here, but I made an account because I need some advice.

I'm from the east coast and graduating college in December. Me and a friend are planning a ski road trip in January to mainly Utah and Colorado. Is it worth it to get the epic local pass (not worried about blackout dates) and drive around to Vail, Breck, Keystone, Abasin, and Park City? It seems easier than trying to find discount tickets and worth the money if we can get in 10+ days compared to $100+ per day for the CO resorts.

Also, can we get the college pass if we have valid ID but graduate in December?

Any advice you guys can give would be really helpful. Thanks!

Just figure out the cost of a daily lift ticket vs the cost of a pass. If you will pay more buying lift tickets (I assume you will) then a pass is a solid investment. Just make sure you get the right one for the resorts/dates you want.

if you are doing 10+ days it doesn't matter the pass, its gonna be a better deal. idk about the college pass since you are still in high school and don't have a college student id, the teen pass is worth a shot too

Yea that's what I figured. I'm graduating college btw, not high school. thanks for the input. any idea if they would let me buy the college pass if I'm only going to school this semester, not next?

"College pass holders must present proof of at least 12 credit hours (undergraduate) or 6 hours (graduate) per semester for the 2015/2016 school year when picking up their pass."

Which doesn't make sense because what if you buy your pass and want to ski before you register for the spring semester?

Exactly. I could print a spring schedule but I didn't know if that would be sketchy. might be worth it to save $80

How would they know if you lied haha? Just be careful though because I know Killington uses the national clearing house to check for their college passes.

If I was you I would just try it at the counter and if they say no, just get the other one.

If you are going to get a pass, get it quick! All Epic Passes stop being for sale Nov. 22, so this Sunday

Also, you only have to ski 7 days to pay off a pass right now
