Epic first day skiing

today i had my first chance to ski at crabbe, so i get my junk together

and pick up a friend and head on down. We get there, buy our lift

tickets and head out, at the start of the first run my friends like

"Hey dave do that front flippy thing u can do" so im like alright and

front flip with my poles and ski on down the mountain. The groomers

were pretty good, but in the new woods trails the snow's a lil old so

its kinda heavy, but it was all good and we're havin ourselves a jolly

good time, so my friends gets me to do the front flippish thing again

and my hand slips on my left pole and i only push off with my right arm

and go kinda side ways and dont get the flip and land straight and y

shoulder and snap my collarbone. first day of christmas break and i

blew the rest of it by bein dumb. Probably out for the rest of the

hockey season and maybe out for the rest o the ski season. That sucks

a mighty big one but to top that off i had to sit in the hospital for 3

and a half hours just for them to tell me i need a figure 8 brace

i wish it coulda been that way... but it was a pretty good day all in all

just tell people you were hucking the biggest cliff and got attcked by a powder troll on the landing
