the drive to the park from there is like 5-10 minutes, its sometimes icy their and if it is it is pretty bad, chair two (top lift) usually always has some pow, theres a lot of backcountry, but then there are the icy filled up days, usually if you stay in the chair two or lower unused runs or tree skiing your good, but you have to ride hardpack almost all the time to get to pow, and for some backcountry you have to traverse a while or ride hardpack, i think it would be fun to have EP's if your lighter and Hellbents if your taller, have you seen me around? (Red Jacket, Grey Pants) I ski with my bro almost all the time there he has a Red and Black jacket and Black pants. Thats what alpental is like. There is a lot of backcountry and usually no matter what you can find pow there, but i would ski backcountry for the rest of the season avalanche danger is very high.
