EOS Utility on MBPr + 7D firmware help

Anyone else had this problem?

There isnt an online copy of EOS utility, so i dont know how to get it on my retina. Im using it in my studio setup, and im stumped with the new compooter.

Also, any way of putting the new 7D firmware onto CF without a card reader? (i.e. through USB into the camera? is there a way to manually put files on/off rather than image capture or the likes?)

After you have EOS utility, yes.

Graaarrrrr! EOS utility works UNTIL i plug my camera in. then it crashes. Damn 10.8!

Canon says 10.8 version will be out in october but the 10.7 version should work. IDK. I've had issues where a non-canon usb hasn't recognized my camera but that's not a crash.

Nah, not working at all. Ahh well, Ill have to wait. In the mean time i might go buy a card reader so i can install the new firmware...
