English Premier League 2014-2015

Disappointed Remy is going to Chelsea...why the FUCK didn't Wenger pick him up.

Bummed I missed out on that Chelsea game, it looked like a thriller. Fucking lol at Man United...they drew to BURNLEY hahaha. Good points for Stoke today, always nice to see City drop some points.

Arsenal do not look like a team capable of challenging for the league. Wenger blew it on Remy.

No one does right now except for Chelsea. So far I have been proven wrong with Costa as well which is good for all you Chelski fans.

Liverpool looked good today, if Super-Crazy Mario can keep his shit together, he will be a huge addition to that team.

costa kiiillem. i love this guy, hes gonna bang them in and piss everyone that isnt a chelsea fan off.

im stoked on our transfer season, has to be our best one in a while. surprised no one here is talking about city, they've got to be favorites to win it

Well they lost to Stoke so they're not doing that great. I think Chelsea are clearly favorites now. The main, possibly only, doubt was striker and Costa has proven to exactly what they hope he would. Not mention if he goes down they still have Remy who's proven. I hate Chelsea, but hopefully Costa stays fit.

Why didn't Mangala play for City this weekend?

And holy shit these Falcao to everywhere rumours are hot. I can't imagine Monaco taking a loss on him and I don't think anyone will pay more than 55m Euros for him. And the 20m for a season loan is fucking absurd.

United have an option to buy him but if he doesn't want to negotiate on a new contract, after tax United would be paying 500,000 pounds a week for him hahaha

Loan with a very enticing option for a 4 year deal after..

6m loan deal with 200,000 a week in wages. Not sure what the buy option is

55m euros.

Falcao will earn approximately 346,000 pounds A WEEK. I imagine his agent will take at least 35% of that, but jesus christ.

Welbeck to Arsenal on loan as well..

what a weird signing. thats a fuckload of money to shell out for a loan player who they might not even need. theres got to be questions about his knee too

falcao is just a weird player in general. hes been at so many clubs in the past few years always leaving for huge fees. its that weird third party/agent ownership bullshit

Honestly, think that would be a great signing. I'm sure wenger will blow it again but he would be a great replacement for giroud. Big and strong, can play with his back to goal. Might not score that much but would provide a target/ someone for Sanchez, Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshire, Cazorla etc to play off.

RvP may have to have knee surgery hence the signing. Rooney can't play striker anymore, Welbeck is leaving, Hernandez left, that leaves very few forwards.

Falcao wants to go to Madrid, but with FFP rules, I don't think he could move there currently without a lot of paperwork and jumping through holes.

So Welbeck is sealed. I've never really watched him play but from the outside, he seems like he has a great base to be a solid player and everything that would suite him well at Arsenal. Big, fast, young; maybe some actual playtime will be just what he needs? Whats the reason for all the hate? I'm optimistic!

That if you lined up a soccer ball and a golf club next to each other and asked him which one was a soccer ball, he'd probably have no idea. Or at least it seems that way every time he tries to kick the damn thing.

Oh cmon, he isnt that bad. I still think he should give Joel Campbell a chance though. When he came on against Everton he definitely provided a spark. I think with some tutoring from Wenger he could prove to be a solid option and definitely an upgrade from yaya

I guess that goes for both welbexk and Campbell. Both need time and interest from a coach to get them going.

Anyone in the NS fantasy league making transfers? Falcao, Welbeck, Balotelli?

Thinking about Welbeck maybe...Falcao will certainly get hurt in a couple weeks.

Yeh can't see that knee holding up long in premier league. I think welbeck would be a good transfer, I didn't rate him much at Utd but if he gets a regular start at arsenal, he'll be getting the best service in the league. I'm playing a 3-5-2 at the moment but my defence is giving me a headache

He's injured so I won't recommend it.

He's pretty damn bad. Though, to be fair to him, he does seem to at least try, and works hard for the team. Joel Campbell is a bitch

oh come off, youre just bitter about one game. you really can hold a grudge cant you? what makes you such an expert on talent anyway?

Huh? What game am I supposed to be bitter about?

I don't know about expert, but I use my eyes to judge talent. Like most English prospects, Welbeck just isn't anything special. That United sold a 23 year old striker to one of their biggest rivals for 16 million tells the story pretty well in itself.

Does it though? Because for the past season or so United seem to know fuck all about football. They lose key defensive players, concede goals like no other and believe signing Falcao and Di Maria are the answers to all their problems.

Man U turning Welbeck away is going to bite them in the ass. He will flourish at Arsenal and Man U won't make Champions League for the 2nd season in a row. Just watch lol.

They signed a few defenders, granted not a big-name defender like most think they need, and tried to sign Vidal but couldn't quite pull it off. I really doubt United think Falcao and Di Maria are the answer to all their problems.

Who knows, maybe the Welbeck signing will be another case like Sturridge's where a player looks dead in the water with one big club but for whatever reason shines at another, though I hope we can all agree that Sturridge always had more talent than Welbeck, even if it wasn't being put to good use at Chelsea. I hope he does do well at Arsenal, as I'd rather see them win the league than most of the other legitimate contenders, I just don't think he's really the guy Arsenal need to help provide cover for Giroud, and be another strong scoring option up front.

I'd much rather they signed falcao or Remy but I also think welbeck is much a better option than what they have on their bench at the moment.

di marias lookinig good for Man U. slaughtered Germany. 3 assist and a goal, all beautiful. Lets see if it will translate to premier league

FUCK international friendlies. Costa pulls out with a hamstring, Sturridge too

Not shocked. Costa has had that injury for a few months now and has rushed back from the recovery quite quickly each time.

My Zlatan boner is tingling.

Besides becoming Sweden's all time top scorer this week he now has also scored in every single minute of a football match

And a new best goal video, because he deserves it.

sorry i dont want to turn this thread into video spam but that popped up on reddit the other day and i thought it was fitting with you guys talking about zlatan

good to see welbeck doing well for england before making his Arsenal debut.

...despite my perpetual desire that england lose
