Encountering Bear at Sugarloaf

Last year I was at Sugarloaf and I ran into a black bear while in a glade. I had nothing to fend for myself but two measly poles. I released it had blocked the path I had to take so I waved my ski pole at it and it moved out of the way so I tried to speed by. I just escaped as it tried to run after me but its paws sank into the snow. Not sure how I feel going into glades at Sugarloaf know and if I was you I wouldn't do it either. Anyone else from the area have a similar story?

In the Sugarloaf area I have seen hundreds of bears so obviously if youre here every day then you are for sure fucking lying beacuse theres no way that you have not seen a straight up bear

The bears must be attracted to your bullshit
 
there is extreme bear danger on all tree runs, it's best to avoid them since bears are extra active in the winter.
