Yup... the grand master Paul Stanisci has struck again - and you can now embed flash videos into the forums!

yay! i was just thinking about this the other day how site like pinkbike and mtbr forums can do this... now NS can!

would it be posible to just past the code in with out the fancy editor? i have opera and it is not suported. so i dont want to be switching browsers when ever i have a video to post

Yeah, I never liked the fancy editor, but you gotta use it to embed. Click the button on the right of the Insert Link button. "videoembedcode" - copy and paste there.
 
I tried putting the link in the videoembedcode function but its obviously not working. Does youtube have a special format it has to be posted in?
 
ok, turned the editor on, clicked the embed flash button, window pops up, i paste the embed code off youtube, click add video, and the window closes, i click reply and nothing gets posted.

where am i screwing this up?
