Does anyone know how's the park at elk, if any? I was thinking of going down there cause i'm sick of Greek. Thanks.

 
i went there once and it was ABSOLUTELY terrible, iwas screwing around and i front fliped the first table and some kid yelled at me and told me i was gona get kicked out. Anway it sucks goto mt creek nj

I was there... they had 1 15' table that I had to build the lip up on to get more than 3-4' of air... they had a smaller table below it but it sucked... they also had a spine but who knows what's there now.

Elk is known as a racers mountain. They put a ton of effort into their racing, as evidenced by the US Ski Team coming there in April. I think in the past few months they have started to put a little more effort into their park. Mountains with better parks in that general area (within an hour or two of Elk) are Blue Mountain and Bear Creek in PA, and Mountain Creek in Jersey.
 
dont you feel bad for me? all i had to ski this year was elk(i live like seriously 3 minutes away) the mountain is good but the park...well..eh

and dont forget about big boulder/jack frost, pa!!! the parks gonna be sick this year at both mountains.

thats what everybody said about it last year too. "we are getting a car with a rail mounted on top"... what a piece of shit that was. they need to learn how to set things up right before they brag about their park. hopefully things change next year though, and their "slopestyle" actually has jumps in the qualifying rounds and they actually judge style... and not who hucks the biggest shit.
 
yeah i know.....i agree about boulder last year...its just that its my home mountain so id thought id add it in there haha

but the qp they had set up at the end of the year looked very sweet

and the staircase was fun

im actually really really hoping jack frost'll step it up this year with their park.. and snowmaking... bb's gotten all the attention so far..and i barely ever ski there.. im at frost...

oh well.. what happens happens.. at least they're trying..
 
Well then why dont you go to Boulder. The only thing i dislike about Boulder, is Having to pay the 25 cents to get in and out of Split Rock.
 
ill definitely go there more than i did before this year... hopefully..

i wouldve gone more at the end of the season this year but then i fricked up my knee

Let's not forget that BB put on that May rail jam!! I hope that is an indication of more support for the parks. By the way they were announcing stuff at that jam, I would say it's a safe bet to see things improve steadily there.
