Eliminator Shin Inserts

Have horrible shinbang due to bad fitting boots. Anyone have a positive experience with these? Any other suggestions? Should I just shell out the money and buy new boots?

I bought these, found they pushed me backseat more, so shoved them down the back of my liners, pushing me forward, thusly reducing my chances of future shin bangs. Backseat = Horrible shin pain

if it fits you wont get shinbang. i haven't used shin inserts but if they make your boots fit you better it'll help with shinbang. intuition liners were a godsend for me

they helped me a lot, i got them primarily for locking my heels back down after my FT's had packed out a bit, really enjoy them. they helped my shins too, although i didn't have BAD pain.. and what the F is up with random words being hyperlinked to advertisements? im pissed

Talked to a couple of bootfitters about these... concensus seems to be that they're a band-aid for a poorly fitting boot, if you use them like they're intended (down the front) then you'll just end up further backseat.

If you've got enough room to fit a pair of these down the front of your boots and not be in complete agony either your liners are f*cked and you should buy some aftermarket Intuitions, or your boot has completely the wrong cuff shape for your leg.

If you know that your boots do not fit you correctly, then you will not solve the problem by stuffing a glorified mouse pad into your liners. Doing this will just delay the inevitable and potentially cause you more grief. Your best bet is to go to a reputable boot-fitter in your area and get fit for new boots while their stock is good with numerous models and flexes to try. And make sure you also invest in good footbeds too, if you haven't already.
