did anyone ese have spelling when the where in elementary school/ middle school? did anyone else ever get the whole entire word marked wrong if they missed one letter? it was the most annoying thing ever when i was in middle school.

they stopped in grd 4 or 5 and if you fucked up a word (even one letter), you get it marked wrong.

No. It sucks when I'm in math and I get the answer right but the question wrong cause I left out a step in my work

Yeah. Failed every one. Yes. Jesus, that was a really long time ago.
I thought this thread was going to be about how everybody sucks at spelling when they type

I had them up until grade 12.

But not only did we have to spell it, we had to define it, give it a synonym and antonym.

I learned words like Supercilious.

Which means awesome

in 1st grade the teacher let a different kid pick the words every week. My week I picked a bunch of dinosaur names, and no one got them right.

I never got a word wrong on any spelling test I ever took, and I won the school spelling bee two years in a row. I don't recall ever having spelling tests after elementary school though.

/claim?

dyslexic + pop spelling tests in elementary school = fail
i would occasionally get a good grade on some though, but those were most likely the ones we were given days to study..
