Electrical current out of my macbook pro

this is super random, but i just want to know if anybody else has experienced this with their macbook pro (1st-2nd gen). i've noticed that whenever i set my hands down to type, i get these pinprick sensations on my arms where they rest on my laptop, more specifically the outer edge where the small piece of plastic is that runs around it. has anyone else ever had this happen to them? i can't leave my hands down for too long or else it really starts to hurt. this sounds kind of retarded i know, but i'm just wondering if i should bring my computer into a mac store and get it checked out or if its not really a big deal...

if you're getting electrocuted by your computer, something is NOT right haha. I would bring it in asap.

I get that, but i just thought it was always my arm hair gettin stuck or something. Suck it up?

You're probably just imagining it. Everyone knows Macs don't have any problems whatsoever-- they just work!

nah, no foreign plugs or anything. went in yesterday and the guy at the genius bar couldn't verify it so they couldn't do anything. i always have a ton of things plugged into my computer like hard drives and speakers and stuff so maybe that has something to do with it...i guess we'll see.

also i have all hardwood floors so i doubt its static buildup...unless i'm missing something here haha.

thanks guys

Being surrounded by all those electronics will cause static. Hardwood floors will isolate the static. Good luck with this one.
