EHP, ARG, JJ, or EP Pro

hey guys. im looking for a new powder stick for the quiver and ive come down to these skis. ive read the reviews, watched the movies and searched the forums. im 6ft 150lbs and have been skiing since 5. im looking for overall preformace and fun factor plus any major dislikes any of you have. thanks and shred nar

I know people are gonna say searcg bar so just do it, you know you want to...

searchbar. there, I said it.

Seriously though if you are looking for all around performance, don't get ARGs. This is coming from an ARG owner. The EP Pro will be more playful than the JPs and much more so than the EHPs. For best all around I'd pick between the EHPs and the new JPs, but I would also consider the S7. However, very few people have ridden the S7 and new JPs, so you'll have to go mainly on specs/flex unless you want to wait until you can demo it.

I am going to have to agree with the s7 on this one. It can be fun and playful when it dumps yet can still shred. If you want more shred potential I would look at the Huge Trouble. Now there is a kick ass ski. Both are great powder skis, Having been able to ski alot of next years skis I am going to say that 115 is the magic number. Once you go over it and add rocker you really lose alot of firm snow performance. yes you can still get down the mountain but it's not fun. I would say go s7 for a more playful powder ski and go huge trouble for a more agressive powder ski.

This is such a tough choice and I am trying to figure out what funshape i'm getting for next season too. I have it narrowed down to Moment DPs or Josh Bibbys.

Out of those though I would go with EHPs if you want a ski to charge and be a bit more versatile, or the Lines if you want a more playful ski.

probly looking at the smallest ehp. ive heard they are completely different skis at different lengths. im looking for a playful allround powder tool if that helps. bump

from what you've described, you should probably steer clear of the arg and the ep pro. it sounds like you'd benefit from a more conventionally shaped wide ski. you should check out the new mo' ship in the 185 size. sounds like it'd be right up your alley.
