does it matter what camera you use when you import footy. like if its filmed with gl2 but uploaded with poop camera is there a differecne?

nope don't matter. My friend films with his sony vx2100 but imports on a different camera just in case anything goes wrong with stopping the tape and rewinding it to import and what not

As odd as it seems, the tape deck is basically the same in all MiniDV cameras...it doesn't matter which camera you do the uploading with, it just matters which camera you do the recording with.
