Search bared it and didn't find anything I just want to know what's the difference between the two? They look the same And I can't figure it out. If there is a thread on this please link me to it and let this die. Plus K to all who help

the size.

the eg2 is made for larger faces where as the eg 2.5 is for medium sized faces.

2.5 fits MORE like the splice, but realistically, neither are that similar. Which is what I personally like about the electrics, they are ridiculously comfortable... more so than any oakley i've tried on except for the canopy... which fits big like the eg2.

if you want something bigger and more comfy than an oakley, go with the eg2 or eg2.5, or look into the von zipper fishbowl, or dragon APX

i have both the splices and eg2's and eg2's are by and far the more comfy goggle. and the splices do have awful field of vision.

that said, oakley makes better lenses than electric

meh, i wouldn't necessarily agree with that... electrics lenses are actually pretty good... no distortion, pretty good scratch resistance, and if they do get beat up, the electric replacement lenses cost about half as much as the oakley.

I have an average size face and i love my 2.5's. I tried on some 2's at a astore and the field of vision was incredible, but i looked in the mirror and i looked ridiculous. If you have a big head get the 2's. Otherwise the 2.5's will be great.

i only have an issue whilst hiking, and i usually take em off at that point and put on sunglasses.

EG2 and EG2.5 have the same fit, only the 2.5 is smaller; the curvature and bridge are the same profile (which is greater than the Oakleys). So if you have a small nose or flatter face, the EG gogs could fit awkwardly. If you're a regular sized white guy, the EG2s should work.

People who complain about goggles fogging are sillies who wear them while hiking, or put them on their forehead.

Pretty much. I've used EG2, EG2.5's, and EG1's and have never had problems fogging, unless I put them on my head while I'm sweating. I prefer EG2.5's if I'm using a helmet, tighter fitting and are easier to take on and off with the helmet.
