Edits made good by music

What edits do you guys watch for the soundtracks and not for the content? Theres some really average edits with loose editing out there that make up for it with great music. And i'm not saying the edit has to be bad per se, could be something you wouldn't really go out of your way to watch if the song choice was different.

I dont have any off the top of my head but ive def seen some here and there that werent up my alley but could watch all day just bc the soundtrack bops

another OG bunch edit. this track fucks and works so well with how the jump lines were filmed

fuck it here's another newer one

I could go on for days, IMO the soundtrack is at least 50% of what makes an edit enjoyable for me

I don't do much for edits, but I used some live music I shot in this one.

IDK, maybe it's not good?

What say you?

Live music in an edits a hot take but i like the way it works with the footage. Def wouldnt say its a bad edit, i cant say no to some nice park lapping clips

Tophaloaf and iceberg Simpson (I think) had a Hood edit like last summer where they walked out of the water and proceeded to throw hammers to an Ace Hood song about getting top.

Hornbeck has the smoothest production of any edits I've seen. Real ski and wreckanize were art. The skiing is great too, but the whole soundtrack in that just made it that next level that I'll watch over and over

These are so well edited and I remember them being a really nice change of pace when they came out

came in here about to post these, glad they are post #1, love these edits and especially fleet foxes. I've had my eye on a particular unused Fleet foxes track that I'll use eventually for footage that's truly deserving, looking forward to making that edit someday

Ian Compton used "ragged wood" in this cut @4:05 (but really the whole things worth watching)

Thanks. I liked the idea that it would probably stay up on YT and not get muted etc.
