It would be pretty cool if Harvey or someone invovled with the site selected one picture and one video a month to be a put in a 'featured' section or something like that. And every month there is a new pic/clip and there would be an archive kept to view past months selections.

I've always been in favor of some kind of 'Featured' media section, where media mods could place the best photos and videos, rotated weekly or monthly or something. Some sort of judging could be involved too...

The cool thing about NS is that everyone can upload their stuff and get recognition, and it's cool to see what everyone has to show, but some days I want to be able to go to a page and see ten or fifteen AWESOME pictures and videos, without having to browse through thirty mediocre one. The voting system was supposed to help with that, but with everyone voting multiple times, people giving their own pictures 10s, and no voting at all, that hasn't worked out too well.
