what programs you use for editing videos?

i think im gonna start using some adobe in my school but im not sure what it is....my teacher said its like the best adobe makes

depends on what computer you have...and yes macs are better for editing:

mac-final cut pro

pc-adobe premiere pro

AND for both-adobe after effects

final cut or premiere, i use both, but more final cut

I use FinalCut Pro with a G5 and it works great. I also think Vegas Pro is good as well. Adobe Premier Pro is getting better but as long as G5's are the better computer, Finalcut will be the better Non-linear editing software.

i use pinnacle 8.0, i wish i could afford final cut though.
