background, in highschool was like head media guy, ran the school new, had a lot of experience with after effects, illustrator, and premiere pro.

fast forward three years and i havent edited since high school and I am now finishing up my edit for a local ski edit contest. freaking the fuck out because this is so stressful. just didnt know how stressful this shit can be.

its rendering now, will post edit when its up. riding isnt great cuz i live in southeast but feedback will be great.

contest is just for like emotion not bangers or super intense editing btw
 
I liked your mix on filler to action. If you're going to shoot with a wide angle lens, get closer to your subject / more dynamic angles. If you're going to shoot with a GoPro, watch Abe Kislevitz' video that talks about using MPEGstreamclip to pull the best possible image out of your GoPro, because that didn't look so great.
 
it actually looked better when I viewed it on Vimeo... but you should check the tutorial anyways! it will help.

 
yea it was my first time using a go pro, didnt turn out well. i will be making more and im working with another park crew guy who works for a professional film company so should get some good shots and keep me behind the computer
