Whattup ns, I aswell as I assume others am looking for some dope editing inspiration, I want to add some more pop to the content on the gram (don’t kill me about ig clips) and just wanted to see some of y’all’s favorite short edits. God bless
 
I’m a big fan of simple editing. Not too much slo mo, not too many weird cuts, and pretty much no weird visual effects.

tldr too much of a good thing is not a good thing.
 
If you want a generic kinda thing for ig i just look at repost pages like skicreative and cloutskiiers cause theres some variety but its a good example of nice and simple editing that fits the gram

Damn that style is super sick, never even thought about trying something like that, I’ll post the end result here (assuming the ns gods allow me to post an ig edit on ns) to show talk how it turned out ❤️
 
imo fuck insta edits, unless it's just one trick with some raw audio

*for ns

finding a song that your passionate to edit to and fits with the style is key. Hopefully its not some obnoxious soundcloud rapper or mumbler. Fuqed heavy with the new surface edit. The mix of 4k like high res-fisheye and long lens was dope af, shallow depth of field too, got me oozing

hot take: unless your a pro level skier weird editing usually adds more to the video then it takes away (if done tastefully and deliberately, not just to make an edit "trippy").

maybe its cause I edit a lot myself and just dropping tricks in a timeline 1 after another and syncing to drum beats is boring to me but as someone who considers their skiing medicore making unique edits seems the best way to add some flavor
