cant believe more people havnt said this, but no bandwagon involved... t-walls superunknown video. it was so dope and i had no idea there was anything like it. from then on...
this thread made me realize how much people post on this site. im seeing kids with 3-4 thousand posts who got into freeskiing from 4bi9 or something last year. maybe i just dont post alot
when i first saw t walls superunknown it was not the original and was called "how jesus would look on skis" or something like that so i didnt even know who it was (i didnt know what superunknown or twall was at the time). anyways i remember how i was amazed and almost shocked at what i saw. seeing as though this was one of the first real edits ive ever watched, i actually didnt believe that it was possible to do some of the tricks and thought maybe it was fake or something.
anyways that was most likely when it all started. showed my younger cousin it also and i think he had a similar experience
i bought off the grid from WME (i dont like them anymore) but there was a segment on the 06 (i think) us open when tj did the switch 1440 to repeat the big air win. from them on i was obsessed
It wasn't till the end of last season that I decided to make the switch from snowboarding to skiing, so I'd probably say that just newschoolers as a whole and b-dog gone wild played a pretty big role.
"the prophecy" way back in the day lol.. then i watched ski movie 3 like it was my job and really got into it, Tanner, Pep, and Candide's parts were unbelievable!
