"edit post" buttons

in other forums ive seen, they have had edit post buttons. im not sure if the server/software thing you guys use for the forums is able to have this, but it helps to keep the forums better organized. instead of having people post 5 times in a row, they would be able to click a button that would let them edit a post, add to the post or whatnot. anyway, thats my idea.

ummm, then if someone calls another person gay, he can just change his original post to something else...

Yeah a preview button would be good. I tried uploading a pic a while ago and just kept trying it out on a less used area of the forum so as to not muck up the better threads.

all that does is teaches people that you can go back and change what youve said, effectively avoiding taking any responsibility of anything u may have said that you regret, if its so bad ask a mod to remove it, but just think about when you say something in the reall world and instantly/not so instantly regret it, you have to take responsibilty for it, on the net it is minor in comparison to the real world so i dont evan know why this idea has been put forth
