It's hard to choose just one, Dane's, Tim's and the urban sections were probably my favorites.
 
hands down Tim's segment. The whole time my mouth was touching the floor because it was too ill.
 
personally i liked the ski bowl and urban seggies the best but, to be honest, it don't think it lived up to its hype. it just didnt do it for me like refresh did. dont get me wrong edias was sick but it just didnt have that wow factor that i felt refresh did and i just heard all of this crazy stuff about it and i dont think it loved up to my expectations.
 
yeh same here i agree with ur favorite segments and the fact that my expectations werent lived up to. Refresh was just the perfect movie

EDIAS hands down beat Refresh to me. Stuff like Dane Tudor's segment and Durtschi's are so much more enjoyable to watch than a park segment with mostly the same tricks that everyone has already seen, with shitty rap in the background.
 
Charley Ager's segment blew my mind. Definitely the best one in EDIAS.

Tim's was excellent as well, and Dane's was even better.
 
Charley and Tim's were both sick, so was Dane's. Tanner and CR and Spriggs had a sick part too. All the urban shit was rad. The park shoot was nuts. Im probably forgetting some other ill shit but damn, really the whole movie is awesome.
 
The segment where Tanner Hall wasn't talking, the segment where the movie ended and it went back to the menu, and Durtschi's segments were all tied for the best.
 
dane's seg blew me away the first time i saw it, timmy d's was amazing too. the retallack seg and the ski bowl and the east coast urban...all amazing. no way to call a best seg in the movie in my opinion
 
see your wrong, Level One always has the best soundtracks with out a doubt. The reason I like there movies so much is because it gets me stoked to ski the most and thats what I look for In a movie. Mind Refresh is not all park, it has great bc, a sick alaska segment, and the most ridiculous urban EVER!! No dont get me wrong Timmy Ds and Tudors segments are dope, but imo Id rather watch Rainville's smooth tricks in the bc. Guy has the best tail grabs no question on big kickers. uhhh
 
I'm not gonna vote for a complete segment, but the pillow in Dane Tudor's first and second shot is definitely one of the most amazing shots in the movie!
 
For me its a tie between dane and tim's segments, both have such legit segments, love the backcountry jibbin shit they do, so legit.

Also, the segment where people weren't flipping off of, ahem, "cannon boxes".
I will say that Mike Henitiuk is kind of the man and gets zero hype. Excellent technical skier and urban presses like woah. I can see him parlaying into a nice freeride career down the road.
P.S. This movie wasn't that good. As a movie I mean. Sorry, but random scandinavian kids with zero budget produced more entertaining and compelling flicks than PBP this year. Best talent doesn't guarantee the best movie.
 
the level of skiing in edias bows away refresh- i love both movies for what they are- imo refesh's soundtrack kinda sucked- but to each their own

Exactly. One of my favorite parts in refresh has hands down the Haines Alaska segment. I do ski all park but only because i work with what i have being that a legit powder day is very hard to come by. and i loved dane's segment, durschi, all of them, but as stated above I personally feel like refresh just gave off that vibe that made me want to get out there and ski where i didnt get that so much in EDIAS. I think part of it was also that every trick done in Refresh just oozed with style where as in EDIAS all the riders killed it but it didnt look as clean and stylie as in Refresh.

Didn't know my opinion could be wrong. I usually like Level 1's soundtracks, but I didn't think Refresh had a great one. EDIAS got me much more stoked on skiing than Refresh, but again, that's just me. Yeah it's true about Rainville, his and Bibby's segment was sick seeing as those are two of my favorite people to watch. But I've watched Dane's segment well over thirty times, and every time it just gets me really stoked on skiing and life.
