Edge repair

My surface The Uppers have gotten super beat after 3-4 months in the park, and I want to make them last as long as possible (don’t tell me to just throw them out) so I bought some p-tex, a bit of copolymer and 24” of replacement edge. The plan for the more major edge goes like this: I’ll just snip off a little bit more of the original edge, then screw in the replacement, do a small layer of copolymer, and finish with ptex until flush. This is my first time ever doing a repair this big so just want to make sure my plan makes sense, and I’m open to any advice you guys got (should I epoxy the edge in?). Not quite sure about the other edge, it has a total of 12 cracks under the binding and two small (1cm) pieces that popped out. Should I leave it for now? Or fix it while I’m at it? Thanks fellas

I’m not the one to give advice but wow - that other side looks pretty rough... this is after 3-4 months??

Yep I’d guess it was around 25-30 days of park skiing, not particularly rowdy or anything though. I think I didn’t detune enough at first, and my edges cracked like crazy for a while then I detuned more heavily and it’s been better since. Kinda disappointed with the durability but I got them for a steal so can’t complain ??‍♂️.
