Im sorry but I just see way too many clones wearing these things and I dont get it. I dont know if I am the only one who sees these hats and shirts and gets a good laugh. I dont understand why people pay hundreds and hundres of dollars to have a shirt or hat that looks more rediculous than the price. Not only that but everyone has them!! I look at the clone army of guidos who wear them and get a good laugh everytime because these people think that buying these will make them look so fly. ok people may find it looks nice. but if everyone has them, then you dont stand out, you look like a tool.

why would anyone pay 235$ for any piece of clothing, let alone this ugly one that everyone else seems to have. funny thing is that these shirts are being made for a HUGE maximum of 20$/shirt

and then theres the hats... people pay 140 dollars for this cheap looking hat ( look at how its attached at the back, not better quality than any second hand hat I got from my couzin when I was 5!)

so thats it, that was my rant, feel free to rant with me or call me a judgemental piece of shit but I will still continue to laugh at the high spending guido clones of the ed hardy army!
 
Ed Hardy used to be cool like 4 years ago. Not so much anymore. and Ed Hardy himself doesnt design his clothes, christian audigier does. the only thing Ed Hardy has anything to do with the brand anymore is his name. He also did affliction and a few others. Audigier is a damn good business man though. He knows what hes doing and does it well. He has stuck Ed Hardy on virtually everything not just clothes. Im talking pens, lighters, toy helicopters and boats, everything. And he knows people will buy it BECAUSE its Ed Hardy. The clothing may look like shit, but give him credit for being smart.
 
oh yah on that note, it is genius advertizing and product branding for sure. that just enforces my negative impressions about people who succome to it.
 
Yeah i saw christian audigier on cribs, his house was pretty sick, i have to say. He obviously knows what he's doing, like Nigo and bape, those hoodies obviously dont cost anywhere near $400 to make when you can buy fakes for $35. But ed hardy clothes are the ugliest clothes, the designs on them look like something you'd wake up with after a blackout night in vegas, and just say "fuck!". but it's all part of that ironic hollywood culture, where rich people pay tons of money to look like dirtbags. i dont really understand it but i guess thats what some people like to do, look like dirty peices of shit lol.
 
its like if you took old shitty tatoo's and blended them had a overly sized fat man throw it up on to a white canvas, thats what it is.
 
thats the clothing thats just BASED on his style. if youve ever seen his legit tattoos he puts some crazy detail into them. again dont hate Ed Hardy, Hate christian
 
I kinda feel like the shirt is to guidos as the wolf shirt is to skier- i mean if you think about it both could be called "badass" by their respected parties- except for the fact that they pay 200% more than some skiers pay for the wolf shirts. Just an observation.

you see most people wearing ed hardy cuz they go to tj maxx and buy them for 30 bucks. theyre the ugliest shits ever tho
 
there has only been one ed hardy tee ive been tempted to buy, and thats because it was completely taken up by the face of a white tiger and it didnt say ed hardy anywhere, but the 99 dollar price tag threw me off. instead i went to my local thrift store and got a nice manitee (tee shirt with manitee's on it)
 
totally agreed...ed hardy is not worth the price, and the designs are awfull....as for the snowboards: even worse
 
i always see them at marshalls when i going through looking a tees for like ten bucks. then this fuckin ugly ed hardy shirt comes up with a dragon on it for like 60. WTF
 
Ed Hardy is a totally unethical company when it comes to internships.
They constantly post internships trying to get people to work for free when it is totally illegal. I won't be surprised if they get a lawsuit soon. I wouldn't be surprised if someone has already filed one.
So disgusting when someone who charges $100 for a t-shirt wont even pay someone minimum wage.
 
its fuckin crazy the profit made of that clothing. That shirt at the top probably costed about like $8 to make.
 
The are ugly as shit, and look plain stupid.

But, it just goes to show you the crazy power of a brand name.
 
I remember that my friends ex had that stupid hat. I think she fawked other guys at bible camp or something. That hat is the work of the devil.
 
okay and what do all us guys think when u girls have your 400 dollar dooney and burke purse or your coach purse, or your Christian dior sunglasses... its a fad u may not agree with it but people like to hop on the band wagon
 
Coach has been around for quite a whille as have most of the brand that go in the category/ They have always carried a top of the line image with them because of their quality/ they arent a fad
 
I think your a little late on hating on ed hardy. just about all of my friends in van make fun of people who wear ed hardy and affliction t shirts. they also all have abused steroids, have frosted tips and have a tribal tattoo on their arm
 
i can only agree with you to a certain extent. coach, dooney and bourke, ed hardy/christian audigier are what many consider "cheap designers." everyone wants them because they can kinda afford them. coach/d&b/audigier is such a trend right now because having designer stuff makes you look cool and rich (i guess) and so whatever crap people get there hands on they flaunt whether it's real or fake. hence why you never see REAL louis vuitton/burberry/d&g/dior on the average joe, unless it's fake. people do like to hop on the bandwagon and once the trend dies out, they will just find something new.
 
i wouldnt really say it makes you look rich, sometimes maybe even the opposite. Usually with clothing style you can tell who has abundance and who doesnt, for example if your wearing a big fucking ed hardy logo on your t shirt and shitty jeans ill probably think your low value because your trying to make it seem like your rich. Its pretty confusing best way to describe it is look at johnny depps style, he wears no logo's and has a very laidback style because hes not trying to tell people hes rich with his clothes because he doesnt have to... hard to explain but you catch my drift?
 
yeah i totally get what you are saying. but what i meant was people "think" they look rich, like "oh look at me i have this" and it just looks retarded on them. like the girls i see in the city with like compton ass outfits and ugly knock off purses, i lol so hard because they just look ridiculous.
 
yea were definately on the same page here, i actually completely utterly agree with you... i think its self esteem issues, they think that buying that expensive item will make them better.

and to that 'because hes johnny depp' comment, look at any other famous person that isnt completely endorsed by a company, rich people dont flaunt it. rich people say 'you should come on my friends boat this weekend' poor people say 'you should come on my friends million dollar yacht this weekend'
