Eat your words wallisch

well what i think is thats the rail that in the beginning of tom's eye trip segment that he said not to come back to. i think? correct me if i'm wrong.

Yeah the double kink and after tom closes the gate cameraman goes, "any words for anyone who wants to come back here?" and wallisch goes "Don't..nahhh i don't know, yeah don't"

Yea, I don't get it. It's not like that was more impressive than what Tom did. I'm not sure why he would eat his words.

Dan Brisse and Jp Walker also hit it in their edits, big deal. I'm gonna guess Wallisch was referring to other skiers not hitting it, and if they decided to anyways Wallisch can rest easy knowing nobody has one-upped him on the rail.

quick NS. rally together your fan club to go tell off Sexton. No one is ever allowed to hit that rail again, because Tom Wallisch says so!!!!

A rule of urban is you don't hit a spot unless you're gonna one up whoever hit it previously. Wallisch was implying nobody should try to top his 4 on pretz 2

joe sexton is a boss, to those kids saying that they hate boarders cause they get angry and smash their boards is so stupid, we sell people slamming their poles into a rail all the time.

and joe sexton has so much style, no one can compete.

if you've ever tried to get a trick for a long time and just not had any luck, you would understand. you get fucking pissed off.

and what joe did on that rail was sick, not necessarily better than wallisch but really different and not something i'd expect to see on that feature.

eh thats debatable. as long as you do something that isnt ABD (already been done) it isnt really a big deal. so count out 2 pretz 2, front swap, 4 pretz 2 and whatever else has been filmed on that rail. anything else really is still fair game.

That rail has been hit literally hundreds of times, but numerous crews.

And yes, snowboarding is more creative than skiing. Get over it.

There is room for that in skiing. People are still all about hating on everything in skiing. Snowboarding has become diverse enough that you have a Dan Brisse type of rider who just sends it huge all the time, then a Joe Sexton, tighter pants, way creative/tech guy.

God forbid that happens in skiing.

No, what he's sayin is it's more of an unwritten rule. You can do what you want. The rule is more for if your making a video or claiming the rail. It would be like someone hyping up the fact they slid that red down flat ledge in quebec, you'd be like dude that was done 7 years ago let's see something new on it. Or like in my home town where there are still unclaimed rails if your crew gets one its cool to show everyone the vid, but the next crew to come hit it is expected to step it up.

If you try a trick loads of times, fall, get hurt, try some more, get close then fuck up at the end it drives you insane. If you hate someone for getting angry because they've had X amount of tries, their body is one big pain and they know deep down they can make it, then you've just never felt the madness.

I try really hard never to throw my skis for fear of smashing the bindings, but I've thrown, kicked and stomped skateboards before. I'm aware its stupid but by pushing yourself really hard for that one trick, you can drive yourself crazy.

P.S Sexton rips!

I love sexton dont really care for the rest of that team though. To the people hating on him throwing stuff and getting pissed off...Have you ever hit an urban rail? Personally i liked sextons idea better then a Hucked(although very smooth) 450. I could see hornbeck doing something like that and deystroying it.
