Tried the search bar and nothing came up.

Anyway, I'm a pretty bad cook and I'm in need of some easy recipes for stuff to eat when I can't go out and buy fast food or am too broke to eat at Applebee's. I know I am not the only bad cook on NS and it would be awesome if some of you guys could post up some easy stuff to make that doesn't take too long.

Thanks +k

two glasses of water and then eat some oatmeal. you will be full and have a good fibre source. also chicken and black beans is a good one, easy prep and pretty healthey

Stir fry. Throw a bunch of peppers, broccoli, shroom and peas in a pan. As long as you get a dank sauce its pretty hard to fuck up

Eggs. Two ways to do 'em.

1) Crack into bowl, add milk, whisk until homogeneous, add into oiled pan, add cheese/sausage/ham/bacon/peppers/onions/whatever the fuck you want, scramble all together, voila! Yummeh.

2) Eat the whole thing, shell and raw yolk and all, pending you're not a pussy.

Quesadilla's are pretty much my staple food, it's the only thing I can cook well.__________________________________

Also, thanks for the link to NSG Kitchen.

np, I made a chicken tortilla pie a couple times. you fry up some chicken onions garlic peppers and a few spices. then add sour cream, cream cheese and jalapenos. do 1 layer chicken, 1 layer refried beans, chicken, beans, chicken then top with some montery jack and cheddar cheese and cook for an hour. Takes time but its delishous and so filling

I can send you the recipe tomorrow if you want. Best cookbook ever is the Whitewater cooks. From a restaurant in nelson so many good recipes for sauces deserts granola bars and tons of fancy appetizers and gourmet dinners to impress da bitches.

bacon:

take at least 7 strips.

place on medium-high heat

flip when curly and shit

then make eggs in the bacon grease!!!!

breakfast sandwiches. microwave frosen veggie patties (good source of protien) then cook eggs and put on toasted english muffin or toast with cheese

Take some white cheddar macaroni. I like Annie's Home grown. Cook up bacon and a few hot dogs how ever much you want. cut up the bacon and hot dogs into bite size pieces and add it to the macaroni. its really fast and easy to make and tastes good.

3. spread nutella on the other sides of the bread

4. place one slice of bread on the pan, buttered side down

5. quickly load the bread with banana slices

7. cook like a grilled cheese

Summer pasta. You need juicy tomatoes. Put A dab of oil oil in the pan on med heat. Crush and mince one clove of garlic cook 2 minutes. Chop rosemary add to pan for 1 minute . Reduce to low cut tomatoes into 8ths and crush in pan . Turn off add one table spoon of oil. Add salt to taste pour over pasta

I assume you know how to cook pasta or rice at least, so just do that. Then just cook a random protein (beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, etc). Then, cut up veggies of your choice (tomatoes, olives, carrots) and throw that shit in.

stir fry is pretty easy and tastes fucking delicious. just thaw out a few chicken breasts, cut em into bite size chunks, slice up whatever vegetables you like, and fry it all. toss a few spices on there, some teriyaki sauce, and you're good to go. have it with some noodles or rice if you want a bit more of a filling carb meal, but it's pretty good just on its own too. that's my go to meal, especially since i can make a lot and just reheat it for a few days.

onion rigs, all what you need is olive oil, flour and some spices, and an onion of course.also its pretty easy to make guacamole and tacos and stuff.

homemade alfredo sauce:

put tablespoon or two of butter in sauce pan with diced garlic (or just use garlic salt) and fry til cooked a bit

add milk, preferably heavy cream after garlic's cooked

add a bunch of salt and pepper

turn up the heat and reduce the milk/cream til it's as thick as you want it

usually help it out with some flour; just whisk it in so it's not bumpy

stir in some parmesan and add your pasta.

add whatever you want to it: chicken, brocolli, peas are good

if you google easy recipes you'll get a shit ton of em.

Roasts are my go to meal when I'm hungry and lazy. Just take a bunch of hard veggies(Carrots,Celery,Onions,Potatoes) cut the onions in half potatoes and everything else into smaller chunks. pour some olive oil on them plus salt and pepper and if you have some rosemary. Put in oven at 400. If you have a chicken breast or some pork tenderloin toss some spices on them(I like salt pepper marjoram and thyme) and a small chunk of butter to make the outside crispy. Give the veggies 15minutes then put the chicken in on top and cook for another hour. Super filling meal can make tons so you have left overs and only 1 dish

YES. Shits great. I like to add baby corns, they give a nice texture. Jalapeños too, if you like it spicy. For meat, cut the beef into ~inch long strips about the width of your pinky, you have to cut it when it's semi thawed but not completely thawed so the strips come out nice and squared.

gotta make that BBQ Shepherds Pie. mad tasty and not to difficult.

1. cook up some ground beef in a large fry pan; salt, pepper, etc

2. add in cut veggies; Fresh or frozen (i prefer fresh)

3. when fully cooked, take off of heat and add BBQ; any kind you want and as much as you want

4. also be making up a good amount of mashed potatoes; enough to create a good thick layer on top (like 1inch)

5. stick pan into oven on high broil; broil till golden brown (use mitts to remove from oven)

6. enjoy a hearty delicious twist on an english classic

ps- you can add fresh cut herbs like chives or oregano to fancy it up a little.

pps- 1 pound of meat is usually good for about 3-4 people

this found a mean recipe for it from gordon ramsay, shred up the veggies like onions and carrots so they cook faster(could use a food processor if you want) also garlic butter in the mashed potatoes is mmmmmmmmm butter helps make the potatoes nice and brown on top
