Just wondering how the mountains have been doing with snow because i need to ski and im heading to any mountain around here with snow. i ski at loon and i know that they wont get a good snowfall in before thanksgiving.

Killington Opened on Saturday for passholders only, they will open if possible this weekend, SR will be open by Halloween.

I checked there webcam like 5 times haha, didn't see a single person on it. I wouldn't really go there for what they had unless I lived within an hours drive...

Haha I'd go there if I didn't have plans, and it was 45$ and you set up your own features. Still sick !

Rope tow swag... Hate all you want but it's pretty sick for early October this south!!

Oh, i thought when you said what do you mean, you didn't know what it was. And i one of very few southern CT skiers aha

never wouldve thought that CT would have snow this early i would expect like maine to get a nice storm first...they could set up a sweet rail jam right there.

The guy who owns it is very stubborn about getting snow first haha but that small hill that you see is where he will put a bounch of rails an boxes an shovels. You just pay the man and set up the lines

i had a cross country meet ten minutes away from there. It was in the mid to high twenties at like 8 am. Wouldve gone if it wasn't $45

I have gone there a few times just to chill with a buddy and my bad knee, its not that hard to set up considering sometimes you don't get a lot of space. But you can easily set up a jump or two and some rails for a line. You just need a few guys to carry some of the rails because of the weight, they slide down pretty fast haha

Well historically they have had a Halloween bash every year, and 'd be surprised if they didn't make an effort to do it again. I've slept in the parking lot in driving rain all night and they still had skiing the day after.
