East coast boot fitter?

hey guys, I need some help...

I really need a good pair of boots for this season but I'm not sure where to find a good boot fitter. I live in northern CT and commuting to ithaca, ny and back for school. Are there any shops you guys could recommend in CT, MA or somewhere I can make a pit stop on my way to school in upstate NY? My last pair of boots sucked so I'm willing to drop some serious billz because I'm looking for a good fitting boot.

Kenver ltd in egremont in Mass. is a nice shop good stuff but expensive as balls and if you are around plattsburgh NY go to viking that place is very legit and are good at what the do
 
i either go to fattys in canton or ski market in avon, but to be honest, neither of them are really "good" bootfitters. maybe alpinehaus? i think thats in whethersfield tho...
