East Coast Backcountry?

I cant say much about outside of NH, but if you use google maps, your car and a pair of binoculars, you can find some rad stuff. Look for old rock slides. Make sure you and your partners are prepared for a possible avy.

Look in the notches.

I have a huge list of stashes in VT. I have a "show don't tell" policy though so you'll have to come skiing with me to get them (which would be cool too).

Some standard spots are:

-Big Jay

-Teardrop Trail on Mansfield

-Slidebrook at Sugarbush (it's actually lift-accessed sidecountry)

-Dewey/Nebraska notch from Jericho side.

-...and many more!

Cool man, I'm living on N. Willard st. If we actually get any snow this year you should show me some good spots

Will do. I'm working on a wind farm in Missouri until next week but I'll be done for the season after that.

PM me anytime after the snow flies.

I think it's pretty simple to find your way out and everything eventually funnels out onto the access road. It only becomes loads more complicated and difficult when people don't bring backcountry gear (skins, pack, headlamp, water, layer, etc).
