Easiest Dubs

I go to Mt Hood every summer at MHSSC. This past summer I was a camper staff for 2 weeks. During my third week there my friends and I built a jump and tried dubs. One of my friends was successful while the rest of us were not. I tried dub flats twice but the came around weird. I've been thinking a lot about what dubs to try this upcoming season and if I should stick with the dub flat or move on to another dub. I was wondering if you guys had any input on what the easiest dub was for you. Thanks!

If you're comfortable hitting jumps switch, definitely switch dub rodeo. As long as you're patient the trick will come around well, and it flows right with the lip.

dub flat came easiest to me and was easiest to commit to. then dub back, working on sw dub 9

word thanks. For some reason I find myself more comfortable hitting certain jumps switch than I do forward. I also practice switch dubs on the tramp a lot so I think I might send it. Only problem is finding a big enoough jump. Thanks for the input

I've heard dub flat is easiest but when I tried it felt uncomfortable. Not sure if it was the idea of hitting a sketchy jump with a 3 foot wide takeoff with rocks 20 feet below the landing or if I was just throwing it wrong. I'll post my attempts. Thanks

I haven't gotten the balls to try it yet, but dub underflip 10 or rodeo 10.

haha dude.. how would a dub rodeo 10 be one of the easiest dubs? even ignoring the fact that dub rodeos arent typically known as easy at all...9 would be a lot easier

My coach says thats what he learned with and some of my older friends have said so too.

Idk I guess the rodeo would be just huck it and fuck it

Also by far the two easiest dubs are dub back and dub front, try those and move forward from their.

Did you try dub flat 7 or 9?

I was going for dub flat 7 but it came around at 9. I think I may have thrown it too flat. I can't figure out how to embed the videos from my desktop though

Easiest dub because you just set it and let it fly.

My guess is if you think you set it to flat you probably did, always good to trust your instinct. Dub flat 7 is most often flippier so that makes sense, props on getting around to 9 though, I'd love to see the video though.

If you have a big enough jump and enough speed try dub lincoln. You are looking forward the whole time so you don't have to worry about trying to spot your landing so just huck it and you should bring it around and try on the tramp and you should be able to a lincoln on snow.

do a dub that you are most comfortable at the tramp

yep, whatever dub you are most confident in off snow is your best bet on snow, whether dub flat, dub 10 or switch dub
