Easier way to upload pics

why dont we have something that then we click, reply to quote, that page has a little box and when we click on it, it goes to our document and ae can just take the pic from there. by the touch of a button. the only problem is i dont know how to do it. any suggestions
 
...or more space/bandwidth than pictures already take now.

but seriously, how hard is it to upload pictures to an external source or even the ns picture section, and use the
