Early rise on a park ski?

depending on what model ski like: alpha 2 (lots) - notimes (little)all in all they make you learn to land more centered on jumps. i found it helped my balance in general on landings because of the smaller contact area.

unfortunately i started to take advantage of the (no catch) mentality on switch shit so when i got back to camber it triped me out a bit for a couple runs

all in all i liked them

That smaller contact area is what i didnt like about my Alpha 1's, that and the elf shoe shape left a lot of the edge not touching the snow in hardpack (park) conditions. I switched back to a trad. shaped ski this season and didnt notice any drawback vs the things i thought i liked better about the alpha.
