Earbuds

so my bose freestyle earbuds are dying after about 5 years and I need a new pair.

recommendations? should I go wireless? willing to drop a couple hundred. I'm not an audiophile but I do care about the sound to a certain extent

if you can find a pair, AirPods are dope and 100% worth the $160. I only go back to wired headphones now for video editing to eliminate the slight audio delay, but any other use the AirPods are perfect and so comfy I basically forget I'm wearing them. Only reasons I wouldn't recommend them is if the normal apple earbuds don't fit your ear, since AirPods are the same exact shape. Also if you prefer noise cancelling/isolating, which the AirPods don't do, but I like being able to hear whats going on outside of what I'm listening too

Only problem I have with those is that I feel like I would lose them. If I were to go wireless I think I would rather have the two earbuds attached...or am I overthinking it and you don't lose them as much as you would think

it's a common worry of people who don't fully understand what AirPods are, they only see the two little earbuds and assume those are carried loose when not being used. They come with a little dental floss looking case that the AirPods magnetically snap into, and charge when you're not using them, and the case is roughly the size of a rolled up set of headphones. While wearing them they sit pretty snug, and you realize most of the time when headphones fall off is because the wire gets snagged one something, so no wire = nothing to pull them out unexpectedly.

I've had them since January and the only times I've "lost" them are when I forget to take them out when I fall asleep, and in the morning I play a loud song and they can easily be found in my bed and returned safe to the case.

I never really understood the hype of Bluetooth headphones until I got these, since Bluetooth speaker pairing can sometimes be a pain in the ass, but I can't imagine going back now. You pop em out of the case and they have 100% battery since the case has been charging them. No need to fiddle with a tiny annoying on/off switch and then pairing because there is no switch and the pairing is automatic and instant. Put them in your ears and they recognize it's in your ear and starts playing. Take one out of your ear to automatically pause if you need to hear something. Put them back in the case when your done and they snap right in and charging starts back up. They couldn't be more simple and hassle free

Cool thanks. Any experience with other Bluetooth earbuds or just these?

yeah some shitty amazon ones and some Powerbeats 2s, both were extremely annoying having to fiddle with a tiny on/off button and having to open the bluetooth settings to pair all the time, AirPods are just like plugging in normal headphones, once you put them in your ear they work, no need to fiddle with power/pairing

I have Skull Candy bluetooth headphones that I wear skiing and Im so stoked on them. I bought the sport ones because they're sweat resistant and the battery lasts 9 hours on a full charge. They have the neck piece and the buds are on little wires so they're connected to something. and they're only $60. I think they are worth it!
