Dynafit Beast and Cochise

Anyone know how swapping soles on Tecnica Cochise works with the required heel attachment for the Dynafit Beast? Is it possible?
 
The inserts are in the replaceable sole rather then the shell so you will be fine to add the beast plate to the tech soles. But why a beast? They are pretty heavy for what you get.

I know it is screwed into the sole, but the side screws on the insert look like they would enter the shell when screwed in as well.

Considering the Beast because it is a good quiver of one binding without using a frame AT binding. Also looking at the Kingpin as well.

Ah ok I see your point. They are not to long the screws but it will depend on the sole unit shape. Best bet find a shop with some beasts and check the length against the sole unit. If it's a few mm off you can probably grind them down slightly but it will depend how muc plastic you have on the heel.

Take ke a look at the kingpin. Save the weight and get if anything a better boot hold.

Will do, I wasn't sure if anyone here had done the mount on the cochise. I know Lou over at Wildsnow did and noted the screw mount.

I am taking a look at them, but the price for them is somewhat high compared to what I can find with the Beast.

What price have you seen for beasts? I would imagine there are a few hangong around on sale so if you can find a good price they would be very tempting.

400-500. Some used, most lightly used. Just not sure if I want to buy em considering Id be swapping soles a few times a month.
