Dying pencils

I'm not quite sure if itll work? Theres so many threads about how dying is it bad? Please I love my #2 pencil, is it safe to dye my pencil or not?

I wouldn't do it man. It'll destroy the integrity and flex of the pencil and possibly void your warranty

I was really concerned about the warranty. I thought that if it ruined the flex, I could return it, but I guess I'm wrong this is a really hard decision.

Do it, pencils suck. Dye a G2, if you fuck up...... it's over.

Pencils are ok, but me and my number 2 have gone through so much I love it.

I'd try it on a #5 just to make sure it works. You shouldn't put your #2 at risk like this...

i tried it once but the heat messed up my core and screwed up the camber. if i were you, i'd dye a pen

i heard you can only dye no. 4 pencils with no problems..... anybody try mechanical pencils yet?

Mechanical pencils don't work, it weakens the spring...I've lost too many that way, it's heartbreaking

It seems like everyones so stoked to dye some pencils! Glad we can test and help each other out, its very dangerous and we could ruin our pencils.
