Dying Full Tilt Cuffs

I know there are a lot of threads on dying the tongue on full tilt boots, however i was wondering if anyone has dyed the cuff (back/upper) of the boot. I have ordered my pair of FT TW's, and Im going to try and dye the tongues the same color as the cuff. Is the cuff removable on these boots and has anyone dyed their cuffs, if so any tips?

i have seen the spk/ft dying thread, im asking specifically about cuffs, thanks.
 
As in the straps? Don't dye them. It's a fabric. If anything, take them off (easy to do), and get booster straps
