Dying crowbar question

so i was planning on making my cbars black, but i did a practice one first on an old pair of goggs, when i pulled them out all of the foam had come off

these were old and shitty goggs but this still has me scared

so anyone know wat to do?
 
hmm. i've never dyed a frame, but i haven't heard of this problem with cbars
 
you should be fine, people dye cbar all the time and they rarely have problems. the foam on those other goggles was probably shitty and not the new three layer foam and probably is why it fell off.
 
The searchbar has quite a few threads on it. even I video I think. Patience is key when letting the dye soak in.
