Dyeing Boots Question

I have Hot Doggers and i was wondering if i dyed them white and then from white into another color if that would work? I have never Dyed plastic before so i have no idea how it would turn out. A couple of my friends have dyed there LAX sticks and they said it would work. But i dont want to end up with a poopy color boot. Any help or suggestions would be great.
 
hey this should prbly go in gear talk, but i'm pretty sure that you can only go darker when u dye plastic, at least thats how it is for lax heads, and the idea is the same for boots
 
dont i repeat dont bleach ur boots...that is just a bad idea....u cant die things white...u can only go darker colors..so just let it go
