DVD burning question

Alright so say i were to download a certain movie onto my computer and then i wanted to go about burning it onto a DVD so it would be play-able in a normal DVD player, how would i go about doing this in the easiest and quickest way?

Usually movies are in .avi and in order to download it you need to convert it to DVD format. Download a program called winavi6.7 to convert to dvd format. Then you need a program to actually burn the dvd. Nero works the best and is easy to use. Both nero and winavi cost money but you can get cracks.
 
all you need to get is dvd shrink, it will copy it to your comp and then to the dvd, they play in all dvd players and game consoles that i have tried. its a free origram and its money!
