I heard that these two events are combining for a 7 city tour (Vancouver, Calgary, Detroit, Ottawa, Halifax, Toronto and Buffalo). Does anyone know what bands are playing?

 
your wrong on those locations, it's only stoping in Canada, (Van, Calgery, Saskatoon, T., Ottawa, and Halifax). Doug Bishop and I are trying to compete in the T. and Ottawa stops, if we don't get in than I'm going anyways to check it out and poach the qp...than go to jail.

I don't suppose anyone is doing a road trip to get there, but if they, are, come pick me up. The Vancouver one is July 28th, not correct? It's cool with my parents if I go, but I need some way to get there... I'd poach the qp with you mike.

 
just drive up to Toronto, it's only like 3 or 4 hours more of a drive...

Actually Darryl there are events in the states. I will be going to Toronto and hopefully Ottawa, it should be awesome.

I am working on getting my ass into the toronto and ottawa stops.... If I am not competeing, I will definitely be at the T. one, and maybe at the ottawa one too. yea. sounds like a sweet party.

There are two American stops: Detroit is at Foxtown (Aug. 25-26) and Buffalo is at Erie Basin Marina (Sep. 29-30). They had originally planned to have Albany, too, but that's been scrapped.

Right now, there will be about 20 spots for skiers and 20 spots for boarders, unlike last year's 8 for skiers and 20 for boarders. I don't know how the chicks will factor into that though.

As for selection criteria, they have already pre-qualified a number of skiers like David Crichton and Rex Thomas, and will be considering the others based on results from a variety of different events and backgrounds.
